Reinforcement Steel (Rebar)

Reinforcement steel (Rebar) is the deformed twisted steel bar used inside concrete to strengthen it and increase its ability to withstand tensile and compressive forces. Eltemsah for Iron and Steel (T4S) produces high-tensile rebar complying with the latest international standards, used in residential, commercial, and major industrial structures. Smaller diameters (10–12 mm) are typically used in stirrups and slabs, while larger diameters (16 mm and above) are used in columns, foundations, and girders that carry heavy loads. Steel grades: Production is not limited to diameter alone but also governed by the steel "Grade" — the most common in the Egyptian market are Grade 350/520 (known as High Tensile Steel) and Grade 280/450 (another standard grade).
